Pre-County Fair, Judging Record Books

One of the fun and not fun parts of preparing for the county fair is judging record books. The 4-H kids must fill out a record book for each project, day camp, etc. they enter in the fair. Completing the record books can be the hardest part for some of them!! Judging them can be fun, especially as you read their story and learn what it took for them to do their project or see what they learned and what they plan to do next time to improve. The picture is only half of the livestock record books (market pig, beef, rabbit, chicken). See you at the fair!
