Growing up on a farm in southeastern Idaho gave me a foundation for handwork.  Being the eldest of 11 children gave me lots of practice at working with others.  Dad always had some work that needed done in the field.  Mom always had a big garden and loved working in it.  Both of them gave us many opportunities to work with them.  We learned to love the soil and all we could grow in it.

Today, Bruce and I live on little hobby farm just shy of 6 acres.  We are raising our four children, one dog and 20 chickens.

Our projects for 2017 are building a greenhouse and seeing our daughter marry her sweetheart.
